About the app

Shopper Mania is a grocery memory game for iPhone and iPad with optional Apple in-app purchases. It is maintained by Beit Solutions LLC, using the GitHub account balaelan.

Data collected by the game

The game does not require a game account. It does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, messaging, or microphone recording. Your memory lists, selections, and scores are not sent to the developer.

Purchases and restoration

Apple processes optional purchases and payments through the App Store. The app checks Apple-verified purchase entitlements on your device to unlock the purchased themes or trips and supports restoring them with the same Apple Account. The developer does not receive your Apple Account password, payment-card details, or a game-account purchase profile. Apple may provide the developer with sales and financial reports under Apple’s services.

Online content settings

The app requests a public settings file from balaelan.com, hosted by HostGator. This file specifies which built-in trips and themes are free and how many groceries appear in a memory list. Requests do not include your name, email address, shopping list, score, purchase history, or Apple credentials. As with ordinary HTTPS connections, the hosting service records technical access-log information such as your IP address, request time, requested settings URL, response status, and app user-agent. The developer and hosting provider can access these logs for operating, securing, and diagnosing the settings service. They are not used to build gameplay profiles, infer location, or advertise to players. Access-log retention and rotation follow the hosting service’s settings and policies; we do not promise immediate deletion of each request.

Local settings

Your store-theme, music, and sound-effect preferences, together with the last valid content-settings file, are stored on your device. They are not sent to the developer. Removing the app removes its locally stored settings. Permanent purchases remain associated with your Apple Account and can be restored. Device backups, if enabled, are managed by your operating system.

Support requests

If you choose to contact support through GitHub Issues, your GitHub username and the information you submit are visible to the developer and the public. Do not post sensitive or private information. The developer uses submitted information to investigate issues and respond to requests.

Support reports and their discussion history remain on GitHub until removed under GitHub’s controls and policies. Closing an issue does not delete it. To request removal of information from a support report, contact the maintainer in the tracker without reposting the private information, or use GitHub’s privacy support process. GitHub may retain records under its own policies.

Apple, GitHub, and hosting services

Apple may process App Store, TestFlight, or device diagnostic information according to Apple’s settings and policies. GitHub hosts this website and support tracker and may process website access information and account activity. HostGator provides hosting for the public content-settings endpoint and processes connection information under its own policies. These services operate under their own privacy policies: Apple Privacy Policy and GitHub Privacy Statement, and Newfold Digital / HostGator Privacy Center.

Children’s privacy

The game does not request personal information from players, including children. Optional purchases are handled through Apple; parents or guardians should supervise purchases using their device’s App Store controls. Support requests are optional and use a separate GitHub service; children should ask a parent or guardian for help with support.
